£4,626 raised for Leeds Mind with Get Together Through Gaming£4,626 raised for Leeds Mind with Get Together Through Gaming
Our pilot Get Together Through Gaming event in partnership with Leeds Mind has now finished and it was an absolutely overwhelming success.
We're proud to reveal the event raised a grand total of £4,626 for Leeds Mind, an incredible amount that we could never have imagined when we first partnered with them to make this event a reality.
Not only that, but the amount of people who tuned in, and the hours streamed over the weekend makes for some impressive statistics:

The streams reached over 26.5k viewers
Streamers entertained us with 196 hours worth of content
Over 200 individual donors contributed to GTTG
On average, £158 was raised per streamer
Brilliant results for a brilliant cause done in a unique way: by speaking and engaging with a captive, gaming audience on Twitch, about the importance of mental health and highlighting the positivity that playing and socialising together through gaming can have on our mental wellbeing.
Finally, we're proud to announce that due to the success of this pilot event we're bringing it back again next year!
For 2024 GTTG will be bigger and better with even more games, streams, conversations and guests.
We can't wait to start planning it with the team at Leeds Mind and revealing more in the coming months.
